If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Everything works great, .
just, when you add some content with the avia layout builder in a custom_post,
then on the front end the custom_post is not displaying with the custom template, like single-custom_post_type.php.
Instead it displays the single.php template.
I tested it several times by switching between the default editor and the avia layout builder.
I hope there is a solution for that.
If anything in the advanced layout builder is a full width element then the template used is the template builder template file. It bypasses the other files so that it can output its content properly.
Officially we don’t support adding the advanced layout editor/builder to custom post types so its a partial working solution but one that has not been polished yet. Its why I’ve removed the video Nick did months back and we only point to it when its specifically asked for.
I did actually not have any fullwith elements in it.
Anyway hope there will be a solution one day, because it would be a very powerfull feature for Enfold.
If there is an unofficial workaround, please let me know.
Is it planed, that Enfold is going to have additional custom post types built in, as other new wp-themes do now?
Is it planed, that Enfold is going to have multiple portfolio types?
Thanks for answer
At the moment cpts or multiple portfolio post types are not planned but you can suggest the feature here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests/ and we’ll implement it if more users request it. If you’re in a hurry you can also hire someone to implement this feature. A developer who is familiar with the theme framework can implement cpts with some hours of work.
