Hi – could you please take a look. I’m having an issue with the images getting skewed in the Latest Post widget in the footer.
Here is a screenshot: http://www.redleafap.com/?attachment_id=5661
Of course we would like the image to render correctly. Ant thoughts?
I checked your site and inspect it with firebug and the image in the footer(Latest News) shows this:
<img src="http://www.redleafap.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/RedLeafAP-Office-Sign-36x36.jpg" title="RedLeafAP-Office-Sign" alt="Our new shop and showroom is open! Come see our wide range of stone and other architectural building products!" style="height:288px!important;" '="">
The problem is this code: style=”height:288px!important;”
I’m not sure how it get there, I believe you have added that inline css code, just remove it and it’ll be fixed.
I’m sorry to be a pain, but please could you direct me to which file containing the code you specified? I can see the line in Chrome’s Developer Tool, but I haven’t been able to find the files with the widgets (which is where I’m assuming I’ll find this line. maybe not?)
I did reference the Quick CSS in the Theme Options, but didn’t see anything there either.
I appreciate any assistance you can offer.
I’m not sure how that got there either. It looks like its actually getting attached to anywhere that image is located. If you click on that actual item, the image has the same height forced on it there too and the same goes for just about every image on the site.
You could try disabling any active plugins you have running and if you’ve ever modified the theme files to add an !important tag somewhere that could be the root of the issue as well. It definitely isn’t something that should be added as it breaks the themes responsiveness.
