So on my portfolio my images open up the post but then when I click on an image in the post it just opens in a new page. Please advise and apologies as I'm sure its something really simple...

Hello, I'm still not having any luck with getting the lightbox to work. It opens when I define prettyPhoto in the 'rel' field but the images or video in the portfolio entry aren't opening up in a lightbox. I've tried changing the options for the media but nothing happens.
Also where will there be a fix for the video button overlay, which doesn't do anything on the portfolio page.

I think the problem is caused by your image urls. The js script checks the file extension (eg jpg is an image, youtube.com is a video, etc.). In your case the image urls look like:
http://dcgj5a6irdlw2.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/cv-image.jpg?9d7bd4
which breaks the function because the extension is jpg?9d7bd4 and not jpg. Maybe a plugin adds this php parameter? Try to deactivate all plugins and see if this solves the problem.
Would adding rel="lightbox" to a link to make it work? If yes how can I add this?
Just wondering if this would work?
