The custom sidebar function in your theme is really funky.
The sidebar does not replace your default sidebar as it typically would, instead it adds your custom content to the bottom of your sidebar, which defeats the purpose of the custom sidebar immediately.
Please at least get me a fix to display the custom content on top of the default sidebar content. or do the right hting and replace the entire sidebar with the custom sidebar.

open up sidebar.php and search for following code:
$custom_widget_area = avia_check_custom_widget('page');
//unique Page sidebars:
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Page: '.$custom_widget_area) ) : $default_sidebar = false; endif;
$custom_widget_area = avia_check_custom_widget('cat');
//unique Category sidebars:
if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar('Category: '.$custom_widget_area) ) : $default_sidebar = false; endif;Move it from the current position and insert it after following code:
