    I just did the Enfold 4.0.7 update and now only the navigation shows at the top but no page content.

    Home

    I did the update like I always do, through the child theme and this is the first time it didn’t work. I also disabled the only 2 plugins that were active because I’ve read that in a lot of posts but still nothing.

    I have PHP 5, does the new Enfold update need a newer version?

    Also, in the control panel, the page content is all there like normal but it just doesn’t show to the public.

    I’m sending the login info through the private section.

    Please firstly try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    If that does not help, please post FTP logins here privately so we can look further into it

    OK, I uploaded the Enfold theme via FTP and overwrote all files but it’s still not displaying.

    I have sent my FTP info via the private section if you can please look into it further.

    Hi,

    To avoid any overwritten, you need to use a Child theme following this article: kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    Sounds good, thank you. I’m using one.

    Have you had a chance to FTP in and see what may be causing our site pages to only show the header and nav but no page content?

    I’ve always updated from within the admin panel and it has always worked until yesterday’s update. I re-updated the site by uploading the Enfold files via FTP today based on a support person’s request. It was regular FTP not SFTP.

    Hello, have you had a chance to look into the problem?
    I have sent my FTP and Admin logins via the private section again.
    The pages still are not loading content, just the header and navigation.

    Hi Tony,

    You said you are running php5, is that 5.3 or 5.6? You should really consider updating your php version to php7.

    We won’t be able to update for a month or so.
