    Hi Guys,

    I’ve two questions please;

    1) Under the ‘latest portfolio entries’ widget, where can I change/remove the border around the portfolio item thumbnails?

    2) When a portfolio entry is old – how can I archive it as such yet not delete it to maintain the search presence?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Phil

    Hi philipjamesbarnes,

    For the first one, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    .news-thumb {
    border: none;
    }

    The second question I’m not sure about. There isn’t any kind of built in archive tool for the portfolio post types. One idea would be to create a category called “Archive” and then not include that category into your portfolio areas. Then put older items into that Archive category.

    Regards,

    Hi Devin,

    Thanks for the reply.

    1) It doesn’t work for me – can you please check on http://www.whatisoninlondon.com/ to see why?

    2) Great idea, I’ll do that.

    Thanks,

    Phil

    Hi Phil,

    All we see is the coming soon page when we visit your website. If you can give us a specific to page to look at that would be great. In the meantime, try doing this:

    .news-thumb {
    border: none !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Mya
