    Hi support team.
It seems the latest layer slider version released with Enfolf, 5.1.1, is making my http://www.dalcnet.com unstable. No matter what PHP version I’m running on server.
It blocks my website when I try to set a new slider.
Need to update to the latest version.
Can you update enfold with a minor release or help me in any way?
    Thanks and best regards.

    Hi dalcnetsrl!

The most recent version of the plugin is 5.1.1. There is no other version we could bundle with the theme at this point.

    Regards,
    Devin

    Hi Devin.
Sorry, perhaps I saw the beta version available without noticing the beta notice.
Point is that if I try to use layerslider, website blocks. “error” I see in the page. wp-debug mode refers to all but layerslider… :(
    Don’t know why.
Hope will not turn to be a system issue.

    Hey!

What error are you getting exactly, can you paste it here?

Try increasing the memory allocated to PHP:

    Cheers!

    Hi Josue.
“error” at the top left of the page, which is, if wp_debug activated, related to a couple of plugins which don’t cause any issue at all.
I saw in Plesk stats that, if I access to Layerslider and try to create a newer slider, memory will increase till 1GB, cpu activity do the same and website will break after a few seconds.
I know that dalcnet.com is hosted on a non-dedeicated machine, but this is the first time a core plugin will stop website to work…

Memory have been already increased since the beginning to 128M.

    *** UPDATE ***
I was brought to think that iThemes Security plugin have been stopping website, since I deactivated in all the websites I developed and noticed “error” alert didn’t show anymore. I think issue was due to it.
This is the right time to add a recommended security plugin to your Enfoled’s official plugins list. :)
    What do you think about?
Didn’t you hear about something similar to this issue?

    Thanks and best regards.

    Hey!

Nice catch! Honestly, we haven’t tested most of these plugins but you can try the following:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulletproof-security/

    Cheers!
