Latest Portfolio Widget Thumbnail for Video Content

Greetings, I am having difficulty figuring out how to display a thumbnail image using the Latest Portfolio widget when the portfolio item is video.

Hi speacock,

Edit that particular portfolio item and on the bottom find the Featured Media (where you add the youtube url) and click Show. Beside the URL you can see a film icon which has a caption "Click to define preview image", click it and insert an image then update. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks that is helpful and it solved that issue while prompting another question. Is there a recommended size or aspect ratio for the preview image?

It makes my galley look a bit uneven now.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Suggested thumbnail size according to the demo is 465x346px.
