I rebuilt a website in Enfold for a client, and on the homepage we have an advanced layer slider containing four images.
I have the slider set to randomly select a starting image, but I keep the image static by disallowing transitions and not starting the slideshow on page load. Unfortunately, when you first visit the site this layer slider doesn’t show up until you refresh. The slider underneath it, however, works fine with the same
Do you have any suggestions of how to fix this?
Hey jaimemerz!
Try deactivating all of your plugins and then update Enfold to the latest version, 3.0.8.
After doing the above two steps check to see if it does the same. Also check to see if it happens when using a different slider.

ElliottI did that and we’re still having the same problem. The slider below it has exactly the same settings, the only different is that the slides are html text with a red background.

So the problem is that the first slider is not loading when you first visit the page? I cleared my cache and checked on different browsers but it’s displaying fine on my end.
What operating system and browser are you using?

ElliottThat’s what the problem was, yes. It seems now that it’s working fine. I have no idea what fixed it.
