Happy new year, hope everyone is well!?
I'm trying to piece together my ideal layout, and hoped you could help me achieve it.

(Please note, i've shown a post rather than the blog feed so that we can solve more problems. )
My front, landing page will be the blog. I've set up a page which acts as the landing page and leads directly to the blog.
I would like to set up a -
1. full length interactive banner (as seen on my image and on the kriesi corona demo) that will lead readers into posts down the wall. At the moment, I can't figure out how to set it up.
2. Would like to know the image sizes, and
3. How can I get images to show in the related posts section, and the widget used in the footer. Also in various widgets used for displaying posts.
That's all for now, will be back with round 2 at a later date! :)
