Happy new year, hope everyone is well!?
I’m trying to piece together my ideal layout, and hoped you could help me achieve it.
Please follow this link to see what i’m ater, and check the below points.
(Please note, i’ve shown a post rather than the blog feed so that we can solve more problems. )
My front, landing page will be the blog. I’ve set up a page which acts as the landing page and leads directly to the blog.
I would like to set up a –
1. full length interactive banner (as seen on my image and on the kriesi corona demo) that will lead readers into posts down the wall. At the moment, I can’t figure out how to set it up.
2. Would like to know the image sizes, and
3. How can I get images to show in the related posts section, and the widget used in the footer. Also in various widgets used for displaying posts.
That’s all for now, will be back with round 2 at a later date! :)
Thanks for your help everyone!

The main thing you need to do is go to the Template builder and experiment with the elements and layout options available there.
– Columns – Set to 2 columns and 33%:66% then with one column set to “Widget” and then the other “Post from Category”
Image sizes are set with a combination of the theme functions and the layout css. For the large image in your post, it would be easiest to just add that into the body of your post.
Related posts images are automatically created when you set images in the featured gallery for an image. Use the meta boxes below the visual editor. Same with all theme functions, you just need to use the “Add featured media” meta box under the visual editor.
