    After I updated..

    The layout builder elements (Advanced layer Slider, Icon Boxes, Widget sections) I have placed on my homepage are not showing up. Only the News Feed and sidebar show on the published page. If I go into the page and click ‘Preview’, the preview draft shows correctly.

    I found the issue to this problem. It was actually with a plugin I have installed (The Events Calendar Pro). There is a setting that you can check to have events show in your blogs latest posts. When this is checked ‘Yes’ it over rides the homepage and instead of showing the page built with the avia layout builder it just shows a feed of only the latest Calendar Event posts.

    It is NOT the theme as I found it did the same thing when I had the default twenty-eleven theme activated. It seems to be a WordPress/The Events Calendar Issue.
