    Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to the an image alt and title tag in the Layout Builder using the Image module in media elements.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can do all of that on Media > Library. Edit the image and fill up the alternate text, caption, description, title etc.

The problem is, that the title and alt-texts in the source code are empty in the source code even if you enter something in the field in the library.

    Hey!

This will be fixed in the next version.

I have exactly the same problem: titles and alt-texts do not show up in pictures used in combination with the Avia Layout Builder. You have any idea when the next version of Enfold will be available?

    Hi HighschoolAustralia,

Kriesi mentioned today or tomorrow for 1.5 I believe.

    Hi Devin,

I updated to 1.5.1 today but the mentioned problem is still existing: I have exactly the same problem: titles, alt-texts and even the description do not show up in pictures used in combination with the Avia Layout Builder although alternate text, caption, description and title are all filled out. You have any idea how to solve the problem?

As an example please look at the following page:

    Hey!

I tagged this thread for Kriesi.

    Hey!

If you added the image to your content area/layout builder before the update you need to remove it and insert it again. The shortcode/builder element then saves the necessary image id as well, which is necessary to pull the other attributes from the database ;)

    Cheers!

    Hi guys,

I’m using v1.5 still (haven’t updated to 1.6 yet), I’ve followed the instructions above from Kriesi but the alt and title tags still appear blank. I cleared my browser cache, still the same. Using the Avia Page Builder I am placing an image element into a 1/3 page element. The only time I see alt tags for my images is when I insert them using the text block element, which isn’t ideal.

Are you sure v1.5 fixed this issue and if it does do you have any further suggestions for me? Do I need to update to 1.6?

    Thanks,

    Matt

Also, why does it appear there was an update v1.5.1 but there is no mention of it on themeforest? I can see from the 1.6 install video the guy has v1.5.1, as does one of the posters on this thread. My version was definitely only 1.5.

I’ve now updated to v1.6, but because v1.5.1 seems to have passed me by, I think I also need to update sidebar.php (from what I could see of the updated files on the 1.6 install video on vimeo). Since updating to v1.6, I still have the blank alt and title tags on any image inserted using the media element>>image on the page builder.

    Hey!

    1) Yes, there’s a small bug in 1.5 and we released a hotfix with 1.5.1.

    2) I can reproduce the issue – I sent Kriesi a mail and asked him to look into it.

    Regards,

    Peter

    Hi Everybody,

I just updated to Enfold Version 1.6, removed picture, put it in again, emptied caches etc. and ….. nothing new with the mentioned problem: titles, alt-texts and even the description do not show up in pictures used in combination with the Avia Layout Builder although alternate text, caption, description and title are all filled out. So please could you go on attempting to find a solution for this quite important issue?

    Thanks, Harald

    Hey!

I am very sorry for the problems. it seems the update was somewhat lost when synced with github. Not sure waht happend. I had to rewrite the code and will put it into the next update. it should then work as descibed.

Once again sorry for the confusion! :)

    Cheers!

    Kriesi
