We are currently having some problems with the contact form(Twicet Contact Form).

The email adress is set correctly and the form is filled out nice but we never recieve any emails.

I have tried to use the lost password function in wordpress to make sure its able to send out emails and that works perfecty.

Please help us figuring out why we are not reciving any emails from our contact form.

what hoster do you use? Do you receive emails from wordpress (new user registration, new comments, etc.) ?

We host it on a norwegian host ( and we recieve emails from wordpress(lost password).

Comments and user registration is disabled so i havn`t checked those but considering i recieve email from wordpress when i clock Lost password i reckon it should be fine.

If you’re receiving WP emails, the contact form should have no problems.

One possible option is that the server isn’t correctly setup to send mail using the PHP mail() function, open up send.php (in the theme folder) and change this code (around line 69) from this:

    to this:

Let us know how you get on.

I’m having a similar issue. Host Gator is my host and I tried the send.php fix (got fatal error, switched back) but I’m still not receiving my test emails. Any other suggested fixes would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Have you tried smtp mail plugin: ?

I installed the smtp mail plugin and sent a test mail too myself and it worked.

But the contact page still won’t send any emails :-/

Mmm… I’m not sure what the problem is. Maybe something causes a conflict in the background. Try to use plugins like Contact Form 7: or CformsII:

Is the mails stored somewhere? This has not been fixed and we have still not recieved it.

no the mails are not stored in the db. Have you tried the plugins I suggested above?
