    Hello Everyone,

    I installed a gallery plugin that i needed to setup a gallery page because i like the layouts it offers. I created my gallery page, loaded my images. It works great until i click on an image and it opens up the plugin lightbox, and the wordpress lightbox. So 2 lightboxes open up at the same time.

    Is there any way to turn off the default lightbox without affecting my products images?

    Hi axgillette!

    If you can modify the image links then you can add the noLightbox class to them: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -opening-in-a-lightbox/

    Otherwise you can turn off the lightbox theme wide by removing this code from the js>avia.js file:

            //activates the prettyphoto lightbox

    I understand what you are saying, and that’s all good, but it is on images that this is happening on. It does not happen to my products. Only those images located in my gallery page. You can see here:

    So if i also go about and turn it off site wide, then that would affect my product images and they would not open up in a light box right? Then we got a problem there.

    If you are using a plugin that has its own lightbox effect you can either turn of that plugins effect or the themes.

    WooCommerce also has its own lightbox which can be turned on individually or you can look into other plugins which have more individual control of the lightbox effect.
