    A few questions

    1. How can I disable the lightbox on the product pages as well on images that are on the homepage?

    2. When I click on or enter a product page’s url, it seems to go to an anchor text lower on the page. How can I disable or change the location of that?

    3. When adding an attribute to a product, some attributes are added even though I am not selecting them, is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

    4. Your forums here, are they custom or did you use WordPress Forum software? Just curious.

    Thanks

    Jason

    Hi Jason,

    For number 1, I’m not quite sure how to just disable them for those groups. You may need to disable the lightbox for site which you could do by not including the lightbox(prettyphoto) script in the header.php.

    2. Can you provide a link to the site so I can see what you are experiencing. As far as I know there isn’t any kind of anchor for links to the page. The only similar function is the top anchor that is added in so you can always do a clean scroll to top or link to the top of the page.

    3. Again, a link would help explain this one a bit more :)

    4. The forums here are a heavily hacked old version of bbPress that Kriesi has customized.

    Regards,

    Devin

    #3 I created a video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Bi1zHhkD2Q. Basically when i add 1/8″ as an attribute it also adds 1/4″ when I deleted 1/4″ it comes back after I save it.

    Thanks,

    Also, on the topic of the lightbox, is there a way to only turn it off for the products?

    Yes – open up js/avia.js and replace:

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').avia_activate_lightbox();

    //activates the hover effect for image links
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_hover_effect)
    {
    if((jQuery.browser.msie && jQuery.browser.version < 9))
    {
    jQuery('#main').avia_activate_hover_effect();
    }
    else
    {
    jQuery('#main, .main_menu').avia_activate_hover_effect();
    }
    }

    with:

    //activates the prettyphoto lightbox
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_lightbox)
    jQuery('body').not('.product').avia_activate_lightbox();

    //activates the hover effect for image links
    if(jQuery.fn.avia_activate_hover_effect)
    {
    if((jQuery.browser.msie && jQuery.browser.version < 9))
    {
    jQuery('#main').not('.product').avia_activate_hover_effect();
    }
    else
    {
    jQuery('#main, .main_menu').not('.product').avia_activate_hover_effect();
    }
    }

    The new code will exclude the product pages from the lightbox activation function.

    Thanks for the info, not sure if you saw my questions before the question you just answered, I will repeat them here:

    # 2) I’ll check if this is a theme related issue – I haven’t found any code in the theme files which could trigger this behaviour but I’ll ask Kriesi. Maybe I missed something.

    # 3) Please report this bug to the WooCommerce devs ( https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93 or http://www.woothemes.com/support-forum/?viewforum=131 ). It’s not a theme related issue.
