You said the lightbox stopped working when you updated your WordPress. Is this your WordPress core or your theme? Do you have plugins installed? If so, make sure all those are up to date as well then deactivate them and see if the lightbox works then. If it still doesn’t work then let us know and we can go from there.

It happened after I updated my wordpress core (3.4.1 I guess). I did not update my theme because I’m afraid I will lose all my customizations.
I just did what you told me and disabled all the plugins but the lightbox still not working. If you visit in the site, you’ll see that all the plugins still disabled.
Thanks a lot,

download the latest version of prettyphoto here: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/ and replace the old prettyphoto files in the theme folder (display/js/prettyphoto folder) with the new, updated files. The old files aren’t compatible with jquery 1.5+ anymore.July 3, 2012 at 3:01 pm #80899
I did what you told me to do and the lightbox start working again but there is a bug in it: it is always showing not only sharing options like twitter and a “like” Fecebook button but kind like, thumbnails of the images of the portfolio page. So weird. Never seen anything like this before. Is there any way to fix it?
Just so you know, all my pluings are still disabled.

Hi Marcelo ,
The thumbnail strip was added into prettyPhoto though I don’t remember at which version as a feature. I believe you can disable by following the instructions here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/removing-overlay-thumbnails-from-new-prettyphoto#post-11842
