If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Is there a limit on how many menu items (including top level/sub/sub-sub levels/columns for megamenu). I have 75 right now and if I add any more anywhere in the menu hierarchy, the one on the very bottom disappears!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot
I don’t know of a specific limit but it sounds like you might have found it. I’m not sure if there is anything that can be done to extend the amount, but at that level it might be best to try and keep it from needing to go any further.
You know, that’s not a lot of items though, it sound like a lot. You can take a look here:
and see it. It’s a growing website and we need more menu space….
Has anybody else noticed it?
Thanks a pointing me to this, but that was a no go… :(
I am on a windows 2008 server. But anyway I added at the bottom of php.ini
suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000
suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000
restarted the server…. menus no better…
then I changed that to
suhosin.post.max_vars = 0
suhosin.request.max_vars = 0
Any other ideas.. I have reserched half of the day today trying to find a solution for windows server, but haven’t found a thing…
