    Hi,

    I would like the link “read more” appear when the text is too long. I looked at all the options possible, but I am not able to create the same as the demo.

    Can you tell me what option should I choose for the “read more” appear?

    Here is the link to my site under construction : http://saintvincentbio.com/blog/category/non-classe/

    Thank you

    Hello,

    By default, it should add a Read More link to every posts. Please look on includes > loop-index.php and check if this line is present.

    the_content(__('Read more →','avia_framework'));

    If not please copy and paste below this line.

    <div class="entry-content"> <?php if(strpos($avia_config['layout'], 'medium_image sidebar') !== false) echo $slider->display_small('blog');

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Hi!

    You can replace “Read more →” with any other text – eg some code examples can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More

    Best regards,

    Peter

    Same thing for me, I don’t have “Read More” on the blog and I don’t have

    the_content(__(‘Read more →’,'avia_framework’));

    or

    <div class=”entry-content”> <?php if(strpos($avia_config, ‘medium_image sidebar’) !== false) echo $slider->display_small(‘blog’);

    in the file

    Version 1.2.1

    Hi cybersven,

    Open up includes>loop-index.php. Its on line ~106

    Try adding some content to your Excerpt box when creating a post or using the More tag from the visual editor to separate where content should be cut off.

    Devin

    Hi,

    Hmmm, whatever what I do there is never any link “read more”. I change the code, several tests, with or without excerpt, It’s never like your example : http://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=abundance

    Yet I have the latest version. Nobody wants to see a list of complete post. Why I have this by default?

    Can you give me a “how to make” or link for help me.

    I have this code : the_content(__(‘Read more →’,'avia_framework’));

    In file loop-index.php but it will not.

    Otherwise your “theme” is really great.

    Thank you again

    Hi,

    Nobody can help me with this?

    I look at several theme and it seems that this is a problem that we see elsewhere.

    Please help me. If I put 3000 words in a post, 3000 the words appear. No link “read more”

    Thank you again

    Hey!

    You need to use the standard more quicktag ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_content ) – this tag tells WP where the excerpt ends and the rest of the content starts.

    Regards,

    Peter
