I want to set up a link in my navigation called "Archives" that links to the archive page, but I can't find the archive page? Do I need to create a dedicated page, or am I just missing something?

The Archives view is either a list of all posts in a category or a blog page (which is a list of posts in all categories). Alternatively you could create a Archive page template to display (for example) latest posts, latest comments etc.
