I'd like to link Levitation slider images to posts. Could you explain how to do that?

Hey,
The Levitation frontpage slider uses a custom field called frontpage-link to allow you to specify a link. If this is left blank, it should point to the slider post. So if you want to change the link to another URL, just add the custom field to the slider post.
