    At the bottom of my website there is a phrase with a link: WordPress Premium Theme by Kriesi.

    I was wondering if it can be reciprocal and a link to my website be somewhere on Kriesi’s website. If this is not possible how do I move the Kriesi advertising?

    You can remove/change the copyright text with following php code – add it to the bottom of functions.php and replace the Copyright text with any text of your choice:

    add_filter('kriesi_backlink', 'inoplugs_backlink');
    function inoplugs_backlink() {
    return " - <a href='http://mywebsite.com'>Webdesign by XXX</a>";
    }

    sorry Dude and Ismael.

    Where are the function.php files

    #81868

    Hi cpwilson2,

    It is located inside your themes folder. Or if your inside the WordPress folder, this is the path: wp-content/themes/choices/functions.php. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Ok thanks. I hope it will be ok now. I will look later.

    I feel a little guilty. There is no functions folder in that path. All I have is

    themes

    choices

    config-bbpress

    config-wpml

    css

    framework

    images

    includes

    js

    lang

    More specifically in the public HTML files

    wp-admin

    wp-content

    plugins

    themes

    choices

    config-bbpress

    config-wpml

    css

    framework

    images

    includes

    js

    lang

    Hi!

    It’s in the choices folder – the path should be wp-content/themes/choices/functions.php

    Regards,

    Peter

    Hi cpwilson2,

    Just to add: functions.php is a file and not a folder. :)

    I found the file and added the text. Now my whole site is down. I get this on my webpage:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘{‘ in /home/indones1/public_html/wp-content/themes/choices/functions-choices.php on line 660

    I edited the functions-choices.php in the WordPress editor.

    The last lot of the stuff I edited is:

    {

    add_action(‘avia_backend_theme_activation’, ‘avia_default_dynamics’);

    add_action(‘avia_ajax_reset_options_page’, ‘avia_default_dynamics’);

    function avia_default_dynamics()

    {

    global $avia;

    $firstInstall = get_option($avia->option_prefix.’_dynamic_elements’);

    if(empty($firstInstall))

    {

    $custom_export = “dynamic_elements”;

    require_once AVIA_PHP . ‘inc-avia-importer.php';

    if(isset($_GET) && $_GET == ‘templates’)

    {

    wp_redirect( $_SERVER );

    exit();

    }

    }

    }

    add_filter(‘kriesi_backlink’, ‘inoplugs_backlink’);

    function inoplugs_backlink() {

    return ” – Webdesign by XXX“;

    }

    Figured it out. All quite satisfying when I had to learn something. I actually appreciate that.
