    Hi Enfold users
I went live with a site that worked fine, yet now a month later my client noticed the site had the Enfold logo and the wrong styling.
I immediately recognised this as the site de-coupling from the theme option settings.
However, I don’t know why it did it, and right now I don’t know how to re-couple them.
A look in the database shows the wp_options are all intact, as are the remainder of the settings.
A couple of points: I am using a child theme. I have not renamed any directories/folders, so that’s ruled out. I have not renamed the child theme name, or anything that might cause problems.
I’ve looked around the forums and most similar issues occur at the time of migration. But this problem occurred more than a month after going live, and really, the site wasn’t touched, nobody remembers changing anything to create the problem.
Any ideas about what this might be?
    cheers

Apparently the child theme name was indeed renamed (in the CSS), so I reverted it and it was all returned to the child design and theme settings.

Then I decided to do a test by exporting the theme settings, renaming the child theme (atop the css, not the directory), importing the settings, and it all worked well with the exception of font information…the import doesn’t seem to carry font information? Does this sound correct?

    cheers

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

What do you mean by “font information”? Is it the font settings inside the General Styling > Font panel? We usually recommend the WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO plugin when transferring the site to keep the database and theme options intact.

    Regards,
    Ismael
