    Hi,

    I configured the theme option to use “Salsa” in Heading Font.

    Regularly it happens, that the google webfont api ist very slow in respond. So I’d like to host the font by myself and downloaded and created all of the files (.eot, .woff, .ttf) and a style sheet whit that content:

    @font-face {
    font-family: 'salsaregular';
    src: url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.eot');
    src: url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
    url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
    url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
    url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.svg#salsaregular') format('svg');
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;

    }

    I suppose I have to change font-family: ‘salsaregular'; to font-family: ‘salsa'; and put it into my custom.css <- hope I’m right?

    Having done this, I still get this one in my pages header:

    <!-- google webfont font replacement -->
    <link id="google_webfont_1" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Salsa" />

    Can you tell me where I can change the calls from replete to google for all this fonts available in th theme options styling menu?

    Thanks a lot

    If you want to use a self hosted font select “no custom font” from the font dropdown. This will remove all references to the google font api. Then place the font files into your replete/css folder and change the font urls/paths accordingly. At least add following code to css/customcss or into the quick css field

    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox{
    font-family:'salsaregular', 'HelveticaNeue', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    }

    Is there a manual to create the files necessary?

    You can download some web font kits from: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/ and if you want to create a font kit for your custom font (org or ttf) use: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator

    Hi Dude,

    thanks, but it does not work.

    I have added following code to my custom.css and made the font files available in _root_/font/ directory:

    @font-face {
    font-family: 'salsaregular';
    src: url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.eot');
    src: url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
    url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.woff') format('woff'),
    url('/font/salsa-regular-webfont.ttf') format('truetype'),
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
    }

    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, tr.pricing-row td, #top .portfolio-title, .callout .content-area, .avia-big-box .avia-innerbox{
    font-family:'salsaregular', 'HelveticaNeue', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    }

    I switched to “no custom font”.

    I tested if the font is available within this url domain.com/font/… it works

    Also, I copied the font dir to replete/css … did not help

    In source I checked a header and the font-family was applied correctly.

    But the Font still does not display.

    Any idea, what I missed?

    Thank you

    Tom

    Hey!

    I’m not sure what _root_/font/ stands for but if you added the code to custom.css place the fonts into wp-content/themes/enfold/css/font/. Then it should work.

    Best regards,

    Peter
