Using Flashlight 1.5.1 fresh install no plugins

I’ve created a couple of new subscribers. When they log in the Toolbar displays the Theme Options drop down. Of course you receive a message of “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” when you try to select any of the options in the drop down. But this drop down is not visible when using Twenty-Eleven 1.3

Also, this message appears in the Subscribers Dashboard: “Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to install the WooCommerce – eCommerce Shop plugin plugin. Contact the administrator of this site for help on getting the plugin installed.

Begin installing plugins | Activate installed plugins | Dismiss this notice”

And I noticed one more thing. The Meta widget shows Site Admin link when a subscriber is logged in.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this intentional, overlooked or a bug in my install?

    Thanks!

    Hi JaredLui,

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll forward the issue to Kriesi and see if a fix is possible or if it will need to be in an update.

Thanks for the reply Devin. Does this mean that this IS an issue and not just me?

Looking forward to a fix either way. And pass on to Kriesi that these themes are very nice, clean and efficient.

    Hey!

Removing the theme options toolbar is a good idea if a user doesnt have permission to modify the settings, thanks for the notice. we will change that in one of the next updates.

I will have a look at the woocommerce message as well altouh I am not sure yet about that.

The theme doesnt change the meta widget so I guess the site admin link is just the default wordpress way :)

And thanks for the kind words, glad you like the themes! ;)
