I have set up a page using Angular with access to download a document but I would like to set up some authentication prior to download as a way to track who is downloading the file. Is there way to create a pop-up screen or lightbox pop-up that requires users to login via LinkedIn or email in order to download the file?

We still want to make the download 'public' so that anyone can download it, we just wish to track who is downloading the file. Therefore by requiring LinkedIn authentication or requesting an email address, it allows us to contact the individuals who are interesting in our download at a future date.
