    Hi borinqen!

    Please post the link to your website so we can inspect elements on it

    Best regards,

    Sure, there’s not much in it because I just received the template but here it is. Also, I want to remove everything from the footer of the main page. I have gone into the footer areas and the widgets but there is nothing there. Where can I go to remove these?

    Thanks again!

    Hi!

    You can go to Appearance > Widgets and place empty text widgets in footer column widget areas to remove default widgets.
    Please edit your logo image and remove white background and extra space around your logo so it would be easier to place your as needed http://www.pcnetworked.com/Teeters/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Teeters-Logo-Resize.fw_-e1392816425214.png

    Hi, Thank you. I think all of these changes will work, however, I posted a previous message regarding the child theme that I was trying to create. I created the child theme, however, I have have a sub domain created for this particular theme and when I uploaded the child theme I uploaded it to the main site domain instead of the sub domain. How can I upload it to the subdomain so that I can work with it?

    Thank you!

    Hey!

    I’m not sure if that’s a theme issue, are you using a Multisite setup or they are separate WordPress installation? then you’d need to upload the child theme to the wp-content/themes folder in the subdomain.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    I have gotten everything worked out with the child theme. However, I am still having the same problem with the logo. While I removed the background color, when I add it to the site it is still not in the right location , it comes down to the slider of the page. See site: http://www.pcnetworked.com/Teeters/

    Thank you!!

    Hi!

    Your logo has a lot of white space around, that’s why it’s being pushed down, try editing it and uploading it again.

    I have already done that. If you look at the site you can see that the white space is removed, the problem is that it keeps coming down the page. Please see the site : http://www.pcnetworked.com/Teeters/

    Hey!

    Extraspace is still there. I have removed it for you. Please try uploading this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14975671/logo.png

    I have uploaded it, however, is there anyway to make this logo bigger. If you look at the site, the logo is not legible. Tks!!

    #227756

    Hey!

    You would need to edit the logo on your end, 210×55 would do fine.

    Also, how do I change the copyright?

    #227759

    Hey!

    You can edit that in footer.php, line 43.

    Cheers!

    I have gotten the logo to the size that I want , however, when I upload it I still have the problem that it scales down to the middle of the page. Why is this? Tks!

    #228353

    That’s definitely something you need to fix on your end, here’s your logo again with that white space around it (that’s what is pushing it down):

    I am working on the logo issue on Adobe Fireworks. I have changed the canvas to transparent and on my end it shows that there’s no white space. I am not sure why it shows when it’s uploaded. What can I do to fix this? Tks!!

    #230208

    Try using the WordPress built-in Media editor to edit the image after uploaded:

    I am sorry, but I am still having the issue with the logo. I have uploaded it to other themes that I am working on and the white space does not show and it uploads perfectly with the right size and everything. It only seems to appear on this theme. I am not sure what else to do? Tks.

    Hey!

    Have you checked your logo in the browser directly?

    Take a look at this article on how to crop images in Fireworks:

    Hi!

    @design2impress Are you using Avisio theme as well? If so, please go to Avisio theme options and upload your logo – http://i.imgur.com/LLnwaH3.png?1

    Using Avisio Theme – I would like to make my logo bigger but when I do it goes into the green area. I would like it to fit within the white frame which has the menu or alternatively add a widget area above the nav. menu and put the logo plus phone number on the right.

    Here is my link http://golfspainvacations.net/

    Please advise.

    Hey!

    Try adding this to the theme style.css:

    #top .logo, .logo a{
        width: 150px;
        height: 130px;
    }

    #top .logo img{
        width: 100%;
    }
    #top .nav a{
        width: 85px
    }

    Regards,
    Josue

    I added the code below provided at end of Style CSS but still no change.

    http://golfspainvacations.net/

    #top .logo, .logo a{
    width: 150px;
    height: 130px;
    }

    #top .logo img{
    width: 100%;
    }
    #top .nav a{
    width: 85px
    }

    #429285

    Hey!

    I see it working, now you just need to modify the values as needed:

    #top .logo, .logo a{
    width: 200px;
    height: 200px;
    }

    Cheers!
    Josue
