I was wondering it was possible to overlay the logo over the top of the slider using a Transparent PNG instead if having the logo as a background image in the header area?
My guess would be to create a container in css and place it within the header class.
Your advice would be much appreciated

You could overlay the logo using absolute positioning / z-index to precisely place it where you'd like it, but personally I wouldn't recommend it.
Do you have the logo URL and the site URL and I'll take a look?
