need help please, have a problem in my enfold theme
after moving the website to a new server with a higher verision of php (version 5.6) all the pages and posts with long titles do not load normally (only the header loads, no body)
i’ve scanned the site for possible problems, disabled all the plugins but the problem wasn’t gone.
After changing in control panel settings to another standart theme (like Twenty Fifteen) all the pages and posts started to load normally. But i need the enfold theme.
In present i changed to a lower version of php (version 5.4.45) and the problem dissapeared. Is the enfold theme not compatible with newer versions of php? help me please because our company can’t use old versions of php for security reasons.
May 29, 2017 at 2:51 pm #801112Hey,
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold which is currently 4.0.7 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. Enfold is currently compatible up to PHP version 7.1.+
Best regards,

as you can see the content is not displayed, only the headerJune 1, 2017 at 5:54 am #802334Hi,
I’m not sure what could be the problem, the theme is compatible with all newer PHP versions including 7.1. Could you try to activate debug mode in order to see shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, then copy/paste the shortcodes from a problem page to a new page to see if that helps?
Best regards,
RikardJune 2, 2017 at 11:01 am #802932hi, i don’t use any shortcodes on my problem pages. i use only the standard wordpress editor and no avia layout builder. What else could it be? I’m telling you that if i switch to another theme everything is fine
June 3, 2017 at 5:48 am #803254Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. How exactly did you move your site? If you used a transfer plugin then something might have gone wrong during the process, could you try to transfer it again maybe?
I’m not sure why it would work with a default theme, the only thing I could think of would be a theme/plugin conflict. I see that you tried that already, but maybe you could try disabling all plugins again and keep them deactivated for a while just to make sure?

i ‘ve transfered the site in usual way, not using plugins. It’s strange that on localhost everything works fine, but on the real server only with old version of php ( ver 5.4). With higher versions of php the title problem appears. may be some server configuration needs to be done or some library neeeds to be activated?ps: tried to deactivate all the plugins for 24 hours. Did not help
June 7, 2017 at 3:11 pm #805107Hi UTM_DTIC,
The WordPress admin page would not load in my side. Is the website working?
Could this be an issue in this direction?
