If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have run into a problem where my website does not appear to be viewing correctly in lower versions of Internet Explorer, IE8 or lower. The full-width slider is not full-width, there are images showing up on the home page that shouldn’t be there at all. There is content missing on the home page. It appears correct on other browsers and on a mobile device.
The website is http://www.toddperkinsart.com; please let me know what I need to do to correct this; if there is another update needed etc. My theme and plugins are all up to date.
Thank you, Melanie
First thing to do is update your theme as it is very out of date the moment. You can update following the steps in this video:
However even after updating the theme doesn’t support less than IE8 and there will still be some things that IE8 just doesn’t support like being responsive, border radius for rounded corners/circular icons etc.
Major layout issues however shouldn’t be happening so we can take a look at those after you’ve updated.
