   Hey guys,
   trying to add the Mail Chimp subscription form to my sidebar and all of my pages at the bottom of the content.

   When I add the Mail Chimp code it currently shows up like http://www.test.alightfilledlife.com (sidebar) this, without the subscribe button and other missing elements. Please let me know how I can get these to show up correctly.

   Scroll down the page to see it in the content area as well.

   Im new to wordpress and am trying to make this all work.

   Hmm...its up for me...maybe there was a temporary error or something...well if you can try it again that would be great.

   I did however install a plugin for the MailChimp widget for the sidebar but I still can't get it to display correctly on all of the pages.

   Hi,

   The last link worked for me. I see on the right side a Join Now button. I am not really familiar with Mail Chimp so not sure what is supposed to be there and is missing.

   Yea I got the sidebar working, its the individial page layout now I cant figure out. I have the shortcode on each page but its format is weird. You should be able to see the submit button and it shouldnt have that huge white border around the insert box.

   Hey evanhp,

   This is the css controlling the mailchimp signup form:
   

   #mc_embed_signup {
   background: #fff;
   clear: left;
   font: 14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;
   }

   It looks like the plugin has a background color set for it which you'll need to change either through its settings or add some quick css via the theme options. So you could add:
   

   #mc_embed_signup {
   background: none !important;
   }

   And that should do it :)
