    Hi Support!

    We are using the “Enfold Child Mailchimp Newsletter Signup” widget as our name and email sign-up/subscription area.
    I’m receiving “this email address is already subscribed, Thank you” when trying to subscribe using email addresses that are NOT already in the MailChimp list that this sign-up on my website is linked to.

    They are valid email addresses that I have been using throughout our testing of the website and they are all valid email addresses. I typically will test with the email address and then delete it from MailChimp once I’ve seen that it was successfully added.

    I know that on the widget, we updated the “Activate double opt-in?” field from ‘yes’ to ‘no’ at some point during building & testing of the website. I feel like this issue started happening after that for a few of my testing emails. Is there somewhere in the database that I should look to see if they are being stored there? New email addresses don’t seem to have any issues being added – etc.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey TSBDev!

    Look in the MailChimp dashboard, if you’re unable to find the e-mail in question you could create a new List from scratch.
