Main Menu Image Issue and Portfolio Issue

First of all let me say, I kind of suck at web design and primarily do print design. Alright so I got the background changed through out the whole theme....except the front home page. I'm not sure what went wrong but I can't get it to be like the others. Also, is it possible to set the background to random?

Second problem, I've tried uploading images for the portfolio and it acts like it attaches but then when I go to see it on my site (yes after refreshing) they don't appear at all. Sometimes it just lists the images that I'm using for my background images. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but it's making me crazy.

Also if you have some sort of tutorial for how you set up the blog dealie that'd be nice too. :D You can reach me at laura@shoutout-designs.com because I have no idea if when you reply to this if it will inform my email.

Hey,
1) Maybe you set a background gallery for the frontpage which overwrites the default backgrounds? You can shuffle the images if you modify includes/helper-slideshow.php - open up the file and replace:
```
$this->slides 		= avia_post_meta($this->post_id, 'slideshow');
```
with:
```
$this->slides 		= avia_post_meta($this->post_id, 'slideshow');
shuffle($this->slides );
```
However this will affect all images/pages.

2) Can you post a link to a portfolio item where the problem occurs?

I think I've figured out how to get the pictures uploaded for the gallery now but I'm still having the issue with the front page background.

I'm having issues myself. I went to my home page and deleted the image I had uploaded there, as I wanted all backgrounds to be the default background under theme settings. No matter what I do, despite no images being attached to the page, it is not defaulting to the background images under settings.

Actually, now that I deleted the image from my home page, not one page (excluding my Portfolio page) is defaulting to the background gallery in settings. I'm puzzled.
