Hello- I have installed your theme for my site (in development) that can be found here: http://jubilate.tgcsitechecker.com/
every time the Events page is loaded, the main menu is left out. i double checked the css to make sure the menu’s
were included, and they were not even being loaded. this is leading me to believe that there may be an issue with the template or something that’s out of my reach. all i need is for the menu to load when on the event list page. on each individual page, it’s properly displayed.
Please forgive me if the answer to this was posted elsewhere, I was unable to find it after a while on the forums. Thanks in advance!January 29, 2013 at 7:42 am #105156
Please have a look at this thread: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/submenu-drop-down-disappeared
The problem only appears if you don’t use a “pretty” permalink for the events page. Try to specify a permalink to your events page (/events/) and the menu should display as expected.May 4, 2013 at 11:17 pm #105157
I have the same problem mentioned here… have read the answer post but I still cant figure it out?… Do you mean I have to create a specific page for the events ??
How do I “specify a permalink to my events page” what settings menu is this part editable?
many thanks for any helpMay 5, 2013 at 7:30 am #105158
@danielmnsf: Yes, you need to create a page for the events or sermon. After that, go to Incarnation > Theme Options > Sermons > Which Page should be used as Sermon Overview Page? . Select your page.

Sorry, my bad. You have to redo your events page. Please first go to Settings > Permalinks then choose Post Name then save. Now go to Events > Settings > Events URL slug then look for your event URL, it will probably look like this http://www.stmaryinthefields.co.uk/events/. Copy that then go to Appearance > Menu. Add a custom menu, and use the event page URL then label it menu. Remove your old events page.
