I am using Display Theme and wondering whether I can add a "4th column widget" under the already exist Column 1, 2 and 3 widget on home page? I wish to add something similar to the Welcome Message (but a widget) underneath the rotating image with full width. The idea is to place a marquee widget that will have text scroll from right to left (on homepage).

Hi,
In order to do add another widget, you'll have to edit the template files. Note doing so will mean that if/when future updates are released you'll loose this particular customization unless you may backups.
To start, open widgets.php. Copy/paste the code below on line 29:

'after_widget' => '</div>',

));Next go to index.php and paste this

<?php endif; ?>below <div id="main"> on line 28.
