I have a portfolio grid on my website that I have been updating weekly, with the goal of having a very large portfolio for my customers to browse through. Everything has been going well but I realized today that there is a major problem with the sorting function. Let me explain:
When you open up my portfolio grid there are currently 2 pages (soon to be much more) with 16 Items per page on a grid. At the top of the page there is a sort function so you can browse one type of product in the gallery. The problem is this “sort” function only sorts out items on the current page of the gallery!

Here is my page for reference: http://www.turnersignco.com/photo-gallery/
To see what I am talking about:
    1) open the page
    2) use the top bar to sort for: “banners”
    3) you will notice that only 1 of the 3 portfolio items tagged “banners” will show up because the other 2 items are on page 2.

This Is a major error and it is very important to me to have the sort pull all items tagged “banner” not just the items on the page. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Oh, and another thing: If you try to change gallery pages while you have the page sorted, you lose the “sort” you have selected and it goes back to select all.

    Hi!

Unfortunately this isn’t a bug but the correct behavior of how the sorting function works. It can *only* sort what is currently visible on the page. There is no fix available for this as it would require a complete rewrite of the sorting function.

    Best regards,
    Devin
