    Hello,

I tried to have the same menu as: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/abundance/ when your click on shop.

    I do this:

    1. Create your Shop Menu item

    2. Tick Use as Mega Menu

    3. Add a custom link leave label blank, in the URL just put ‘#’. Press add to Menu

    4. Slot it under the shop Mega Menu, leave “This column should start a new row” box unticked

    5. In the title place this code in and replace the URLS.

    6. Add as many images like that as you wish going on to new rows as you need to.

but could you give me the size of the image and how can do two menu?

    thank for your answer.

    Hi émilie,

I don’t have the exact layout for the mega menu accessible but I believe the layout is 2 rows where the first has menu items that are images and the second is just normal menu navigation with the column headers.

The mega menu in the demo uses images that are 210×100.

    Hey Peter,

Take a look at this video: http://www.screenr.com/VMZs

The images are set up using menu items and putting the html for the image in the description for the menu item and then selecting the checkbox that says “Use the description to create a text block…”. You can then insert the image in using HTML and make it a link by adding a href to it like the following example:

    <a href="http://www.kriesi.at/themes/abundance/product-category/photography/""><img src="http://www.kriesi.at/themes/abundance/files/2011/09/featured2-210x100.jpg"></a>

    Devin,

i can put it in Menu on pages but not on Mega Menu or Colums? I can send you a screen dump of what i exactly mena or see

your own demo and go to Shop, then you see 4 images

You need to put the HTML like i have above in the menu items Description and selecting the checkbox that says “Use the description to create a text block…”.

What its doing is not displaying the actual menu title but instead displaying whatever text or html you want in that spot. So using an image with a link on that image will give you the same thing in the demo.

If you want to create a temporary admin account for me, I can create one as an example for you.

You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

    Regards,

    Devin
