In the demo when you mouse over the mega menu, the white box expands past the border to the menu but it does not on mine.
How do you "enable" the menu to expand the white filling to the border?

Can you post your site URL?
If you haven't made any modifications or activated any plugins the menu should appear the same. Some plugins use JS / CSS which can conflict with the theme.

MemberI have the same problem. you can see it on the Mega Menu link at http://www.rainydayuniversity.com/
You will see the menu dip down into the whitespace of the child link box.
