Is there a theme that has mega menu capability and the masonry portfolio image preloader in flashlight (eg changing the width of your browser, the images will flow in place with a sleek transition.)

Not one that Kriesi has done that I know of. I believe Flashlight is the only theme of his to make use of the masonry script and it definitely wouldn't support a mega menu.
Sorry about that but I will mark the topic for Kriesi as a feature request for a future theme.
