    Hi, I have read about this issue before (seems to be related to the cufon font replacement), but all the recommended fixes didn’t work as those files are not present in the current flashlight theme version. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi schloeskeCS!

    Which font family do you use? We can help you to generate a font file which includes all characters but we need more details.
    Cheers!

    Hi Peter, I currently use the Reeni Beanie font, but I would like to switch between the other custom fonts in the future as well. Thanks!

    Hey!

    If you want to switch between the fonts cufon is probably not the best solution because you’d need to create a new cufon font each time you want to switch to another font. I recommend to use this plugin instead: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-fonts/ and in on the theme admin page select “no custom font”. Then configure the font by using the WP Google Fonts plugin and (Einstellungen > Google Fonts). At lease go to the theme admin page (Flashlight > Styling) and insert following code into the quick css field

    #top .cufon_headings{font-family: 'Reenie Beanie', arial, sans-serif;}

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Thanks, tried that but the fonts does not look as good as the cufon.

    I think I just want to stay with the Reenie Beanie cufon for now, how do I generate the umlauts?

    Hi!

    Ok, I generated the font file: http://www.mediafire.com/?gj5djd8nrdn818b – place it into the /wp-content/themes/flashlight/framework/js/fonts folder.

    Basically you just need to download the font file (i.e. Rennie Beanie here: http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Reenie+Beanie )

    Then go to: http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/ and upload the file. In the “Use the following value as the font-family of the generated font (optional)” insert “cufon” (without the quotes). Then select “Include the following glyphs” – “All” (or another subset if you don’t want to include all glyphs) download the generated JS file.

    Best regards,
    Peter
