    I can’t get the menu bar to display properly on my site. I’ve tried following the threads but could not find anything regarding this. It’s showing on the right side of the site in the header.

    Hey SomervillePR,

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:

    .phone-info {
        line-height: 0px!important;
        padding: 0!important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    That did nothing. Look at the side of the home page. The menu is showing in the side of the header image. I want it to go across like it shows up on the website here.

    Hi,

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
    In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)

    Also have you added any custom code to your site. Try temporarily removing the code and see if that fixes the issue.

    Best regards,
    Jordan

    Sorry, but that did not work either. I don’t not have any custom code either. You can go ahead and do what you deem necessary to fix this. This happened when I installed the latest version of Enfold.

    Hey!

    Please disable all of your plugins clear your cache and try again.
    I can see a CSS conflict from some plugin at that point, so we have to find what is happening.

    Thanks a lot for your understanding

    Cheers!

    Thank you, I’ve disabled all plugins and cleared my cache out of my browser history.

    Hi,

    What kind of changes have you made in header.php file on your child theme? It seems like you did them when you were using a very old version of the theme. Please apply the same changes in helper-main-menu.php file inside includes folder

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Ok, you lost me now. I did not build this site initially and you’re asking me something that is above my head. When I updated to the updated theme, most of my formatting from the old site was gone or I needed to reformat a lot of this stuff. So, I’m completely lost with this. All I know is that before I updated to the new version, the menu showed up above the header banner, and now, it’s showing up going on the side of the header banner. I need this fixed.

    Hi!

    Seems that there was modifications to the theme and it was not done as child theme, so now, after you updated you lost all those modifications.
    I am sorry, but we do not provide assistance to custom modifications, you will have to hire someone to do those, if you are not able to do them by your self.

    Please do let us know if we can do anything else for you

    Regards,
    Basilis

    there is no “includes” in the child theme. We did everything off of the original enfold theme that was initially installed. I just read this thread and it seems this is common problem: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/can-i-customize-the-helper-main-menu-php-under-child-theme/ Can I get this fixed please or at least tell me what I need to do to fix this.

    Hi,

    I don’t see any errors on your site your site is functioning correctly. Child theme is used for customisation and we provide you with a basic version to get started and build upon it. I think the main issue here is to setup the site the way you like it but it’s not clear what you are trying to achieve. Would you mind posting us a screenshot/mockup of what you would like to achieve? You can upload the screenshot to imgur.com or dropbox and share the link here :)

    Or check the private data do you want to move the pages menu to the right side of the logo? Let us know what exactly you are trying to do so we can help you better.

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    As you can see from these 2 images, what I have set up, is not showing up the way it is supposed to. Why is the menu/nav bar running along the right side of the header image. I’ve outlined it in red.
    Before the update, the menu bar was on the right side, about the header, now it’s on the side of the header. I’ve tried to move the logo to the right side as well and it won’t. I’m getting very frustrated as I’m not a web guru and this should be very easy to do. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve sent my login info.

    Hi,

    I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
    In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)

    Hi Andy,
    I’ve done everything as you’ve asked and still nothing. You can go ahead and test. I’m really at my wits end on this.

    Thank you,
    Chris

    Hi,

    There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Best regards,
    Andy

    #642191

    That did the trick. I uninstalled the entire theme and reinstalled everything. Did have to start completely from scratch. Thanks to all for you help!
