compared to other jQuery menus, including those featured in other Kriesi themes like BrightBox, the menu in Corona is too basic. I want to know if there is any way to set things like font or background color on mouse over (like in Coalition or BrightBox) or even have an arrow or line displaying below/above the item.
Is it possible to replace this menu with any other jQuery menu?

you can change the background color by using following code:
#top #header .main_menu .menu ul li a{
background: #FFF;
color: #000;
}
.main_menu .menu a{
background: #FFF;
color: #000;
}
#top #header .main_menu .menu ul li a:hover{
background: #333;
color: #FFF;
}
.main_menu .menu a{
background: #333;
color: #FFF;
}You can add background images (like arrows, etc.) too. You can use other "jquery" menus however depending on their structure, style, etc. it may require a lot of work/time to implement them.
