    I’m still rather new to wordpress/css, so please bear with me

    i’ve got a couple of my main menu items set up to display all posts made under a certain category (Photos, Music, Blog, etc) and it’s working as I want it to, however the header for each page now shows “Archive for Category: XXXXXX” (XXXX being the category of posts that are being displayed.)

    How would one go about removing the “Archive for Category” from the header, leaving it a clean page of posts?

    Hi M,

    Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #top.archive.category .firstheading {
    display: none;
    #top.archive.category .hr.hr_post_seperator {
    display: block;
    #top.archive.category .hr {
    display: none;

    The last bit is only if you want to remove the first separator at the top of the page.

    that did it! thanks!

    Hi AntaresDnB,

    Glad that Devin helped you. :)
