If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have created 3 new menus and saved them. When I select the 3 menus from the pop downs on the ‘Theme Location’ option and save it seems to save but if I go to the front end it is still using the fallback menu structure. If I go back to the menu options and refresh the page the 3 pop downs return to being set to blank.
Can you help?
Personally I experienced a similar issue in the past and the problem was caused by a third party plugin (Post Types Order). Try to deactivate all third party plugins and check if this solves the issue – if yes activate them one by one to find the conflicting one. In my case I just had to reactivate all plugins and everything worked flawlessly afterwards.
It seems to work fine now. I have no third party plugins other than the ones that come with WP. I’ve created a child theme and since then it seems to hold the saved info. Thanks dude!
