    I’ve changed the standard menu using the posts in this blog but now when I move my mouse over the text it shifts up for 2 pixels.

    Can you tell me where I can change this?

    Hi Crank-bikes,

    In your custom.css, you’ve set the hover height and line height to 45px. You can remove those to fix the issue.

    I’ve put the hover and line height to 45px on purpose because then the line below the menu aligns exactly with the line next to the menu.

    So do I need to change it somewhere else to 45px?

    Just removing the line-height from your custom.css addition will let the natural line height of 47 take effect which will get rid of the bump effect you see now. It shouldn’t cause any other adverse effects.

    As you can see on the site I’ve changed it like you proposed but now the horizontal line below the menu is not at the same vertical position as the line outside the frame.

    Putting the line height to 45 solved this so is there a way to make the line align?

    Hi Crank-bikes,

    First try, removing the line-height and height for lines #164 and #172 in your custom CSS altogether since you want to use the default setting. Afterwards if the horizontal line still doesn’t adjust, add the following code to your custom CSS.

    .boxed #wrap_all {
    margin: -49px auto 30px;
    }

    What this will do is move the #wrap_all up two pixels causing the horizontal line to adjust evenly.

    Let us know if you have any more issues.
