    Hi, Thanks for the help on my past problems.

    I had 2 areas with questions…

    1. Is it possible to have a solid colored menu bar rather than just the words with the box? I am wondering how I would go about editing this if I can. I like the menu that appears on the website when I sign in the edit the website (across the top). Would this be a possibility – to change the menu bar so that it looks like that and even place it along the top?

    2. Also, is there a way to remove the light grey box around the search box?

    Thanks

    Hey,

    1) You can change the menu background with following code – add it to css/custom.css:

    #menu_header .container {
    background: #000000;
    }

    That said – creating such a menu bar may require a lot of work and heavy customization.

    2) Add following code to css/custom.css:

    #s {
    border: none;
    }

    O boy! – how do I get to “css/custom.css” ? Then do I just copy those texts above in the code, at the end or the page?

    The custom.css file is located in the css folder that comes with the theme, the code Dude provided can be pasted at the bottom of the file.

    Thanks – This helped a lot.

    Also would like to make the text in the menu bold, and remove the grey outline that stretches across the page, right beneath the top section?

    Hi,

    For the bold menu: in your style.css file you can find

    #header, #menu_header {
    z-index: 100;
    }

    change this to

    #header, #menu_header {
    font-weight: bold;
    z-index: 100;
    }

    Could you specify which line exactly? A site link or an image could help.

    I’ll send a picture later…

    But on bolding the menu, where in the style.css file do I find that line?

    I mean which folder. I’m in >themes >>brightbox >>>css >>>> ?

    I then can choose either custom.css, darkskin.css, lightskin.css, minimalskin.css, and customcodes.css.

    Am I in the wrong area?

    In your brightbox folder you’ll find a style.css file, here you can change what I previously said.

    I made the change – (thank you for the help!). But I now have another problem…

    It seems that I lost the flash rotation of the images. The main slide show no longer has the cube logo or operates the flash rotation of the images. The images just fade in and out.

    I don’t recall changing anything except that code for the bold. Can you help me get the pictures back to the original flash?

    It went back & worked normally the day after I posted this.

    Thanks for all the help!

    Glad that it works again :)
