    You have to have some text in the Description field of the top level item in each dropdown. If you don’t want to insert an actual description, you can always just add the HTML code for a non-breaking space which seems to do the job just as well.

    Im not quite sure what you mean?/

    Could you elaborate a little more please?

    Every menu item you create has fields for name/label, link/URL, and Description.

    For some reason, you have to have something in the Description field to be able to click on the submenus. If the Description field is blank, you will have the issue that you’re complaining about.

    So put some text in this field.

    If you really don’t want to type words into the Description field, you can use the HTML code for a non-breaking space so that nothing actually appears on the screen to the user, but the stipulation to have something in the Description field is still satisfied.

    Hey,

    Because you’re not using the “description” text this causes the gap which means the drop down goes back up before you get to it.

    There is a simple fix, add this to the end of style.css:

    #top #nav ul { top: 30px; }

    Let me know if there’s anything else you need help with.

    Cheers,

    James
