    Quite a different problem from all the others: I’ve developed all in local on XAMPP to have the possibility to do some experiments with no problem and avoiding any risk. I wanted to add more social icons and I followed the instruction: added everything with no problem at all (here you can see the image https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4788692/all.jpg).

    Once satisfied of the results from the experiment I’ve tried to do the same on a remote server: huge fail. Even copying all the files and contents the result is this https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4788692/test_new.jpg with all the new icons missing (but with working links:)

    I’ve checked in ->images -> skin-minimal all the paths are correct and the file are in the right place.

    Any suggestion to solve this issue?

    Thanks a lot

    Hey CEFRIEL,

    Can we take a look at what you have now live? It should be pretty straight forward adding additional icons to the header area but maybe there is just a minor css error causing the issue.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment.

    This is the minimal-skin.css that I’ve edited

    /************************************************************************

    -) SOCKET

    *************************************************************************/

    #socket{

    background: #ffffff;

    }

    #socket a{

    color:#aaa;

    }

    #socket a:hover{

    color:#fff;

    text-decoration: underline;

    }

    .social_bookmarks .rss a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-rss.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .facebook a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-fb.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .linkedin a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-in.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .twitter a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-twitter.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .search_site a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-search.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .youtube a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-youtube.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .slideshare a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-slideshare.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .googleplus a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-googleplus.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .foursquare a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-foursquare.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    .social_bookmarks .mail a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-social-mail.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    And this is header.php

    <?php

    //contact icon

    $contact_page_id = avia_get_option(‘email_page’);?>

    <li class=’rss’>“><?php _e(‘Subscribe to our RSS Feed’, ‘avia_framework’)?>

    <?php

    if (function_exists(‘icl_object_id’)) $contact_page_id = icl_object_id($contact_page_id, ‘page’, true); //wpml prepared

    if($facebook = avia_get_option(‘facebook’)) echo “<li class=’facebook’>“.__(‘Like our Facebook Page’, ‘avia_framework’).”“;

    if($twitter = avia_get_option(‘twitter’)) echo “<li class=’twitter’>“.__(‘Follow us on Twitter’, ‘avia_framework’).”

    ?>

    <li class=”linkedin”>Join our LinkedinGroup

    <li class=”foursquare”>Innoplaces

    <li class=”slideshare”>See our presentations

    <li class=”googleplus”>Join us on Google+

    <li class=”youtube”>Watch our videos

    <li class=’search_site’><?php _e(‘Search Site’, ‘avia_framework’)?>

    Tnx

    Hi CEFRIEL,

    I’m not this just the outcome from the forum formatting the code or not but let’s try this.

    In your header.php, remove the extra >” from this line:

    <li class='rss'>">

    So it should look like this:

    <li class='rss'>

    Now add after each link so for instance:

    <li class='rss'><?php _e('Subscribe to our RSS Feed', 'avia_framework')?></li>

    or

    <li class="youtube"><a href="http://your-link">Watch our videos</a></li>

    Regards,

    Mya

    Ok, I found the mistake (really really stupid)

    I didn’t noticed that in the copy and upload from local to remote images went from 644 to 700

    Now that I’ve changed them back it works perfectly

    Tnx
