    i have managed to add some image size/cropping options in “avia_fullscreen_slider.js”. how can I get them working with IE 8 and 7?

    if (c.options.cropping) {

    if (winRatio < imgRatio) { //CROPPING

    final = e;

    final = (e / img_h) * img_w

    } else {

    final = win_w;

    final = (win_w / img_w) * img_h

    }

    } else if (jQuery(‘ul.smaller_images’).length == 1) { // SMALLER IMAGES

    if (winRatio > imgRatio) {

    final = e – 250;

    final = ((e – 250) / img_h) * img_w

    } else {

    final = win_w;

    final = (win_w / img_w) * img_h

    }

    } else {

    if (winRatio > imgRatio) { //NO CROPPING

    final = e – 66;

    final = ((e – 66) / img_h) * img_w

    } else {

    final = win_w;

    final = (win_w / img_w) * img_h

    }

    }

    I can only give you a general hint/tip here: Try to debug the js code with the IE developer tools and check if all variables contain the right values – probably one or more values are wrong (which breaks the entire calculation). Maybe IE calculates the element width/height wrong. In addition make sure that EVERY code line ends with a “;”.

    found it, it’s a pure css solution. canvas is only for IE9 upwards.

    Hey!

    Glad that you solved the issue :)

    Best regards,

    Peter
