    Hello,

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove few things and add some…

    1) On top of the product page :

    - Is it possible to remove the “search form”?

    - Can i add the mailing icon (same as in the footer) on this line?

    For example on this page http://www.kriesi.at/themes/propulsion/shop/another-test-product-with-a-multiple-images/ the one that is on the same line as the product page title.

    2) On top of the “All products” page:

    Is it possible to remove the “sorting drop down menu” (Alphabetically | Most Recent | Price)?

    For example on this page http://www.kriesi.at/themes/propulsion/shop/ the one that is on the same line as the “All products” page title.

    Thank you very much in advance for you replies.

    Best regards,

    Hi ThirtyThirds,

    First we’ll need to add the mail icon into the social icons. Open functions.php in the main theme files and search for:

    echo '<ul class="social_bookmarks">';

    Now add the following right after that line but before the line that creates the dribble icon:

    //contact icon
    $contact_page_id = avia_get_option('email_page');
    if (function_exists('icl_object_id')) $contact_page_id = icl_object_id($contact_page_id, 'page', true); //wpml prepared
    if($contact_page_id) echo "<li class='mail'><a href='".get_permalink($contact_page_id)."'>".__('Send us Mail', 'avia_framework')."</a></li>";

    Save the file and then add the following css to your Quick CSS located at the bottom of the Styling options or the custom.css file in the css folder.

    #main.template-shop #searchform {
    display: none;
    }
    #main.template-shop .title_meta {
    width: 130px;
    }
    .title_meta {
    width: 348px;
    }

    That should do it :)

    Devin

    Hello Devin,

    First, thanks for your reply and sorry to reply back so long later after but i had a little break…

    Your solution almost work for my first “problem” minus that the space allocated to the search form still exist and so the 3 “social icons” are still in the same place instead of being closed to the right border. Do you think of a solution?

    But i still don’t have solutions for my second “problem”, don’t you have a solution?

    Thank you for your help,

    Best regards,

    ThirtyThirds

    Hi ThirtyThirds,

    Can you provide a link for your site? I’ll need to see whats going on live as the above code should have done the trick.

    Thanks,

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

    - My problem n°1 is on the shop page : http://www.kirsebaerdynen.com/shop/

    Do you know how to remove the drop down menu on the opposite right of the shop title?

    - My problem n°2 is on the products pages : http://www.kirsebaerdynen.com/shop/designet-til-born/

    I applied your css code but the result is a little ugly this way because of the “ex search form” space still in place.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,

    ThirtyThirds.

    Hi Devin,

    I found out in an other post (http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-put-a-search-bar-instead-of-sort-button-in-the-products-shop-page) how to resolve my n°1 problem by removing all the data in the file plugins/woocommerce/templates/loop/sorting.php as mentioned by Ismael. And it works fine. Great!

    If you have some time to modify the css code you proposed me above to resolve my n°2 problem it would be really nice.

    Regards,

    ThirtyThirds.

    Hey!

    Add the following to your quick css or custom.css file:

    #top .social_bookmarks {
    right: 0px !important;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin
